Substance Abuse Program

People with substance abuse disorders collectively represent the most frequently occurring mental health problems in the country. Drug and alcohol abuse is 100% preventable. Delaying the onset of drug and alcohol use among people dramatically decreases the risk of long term addiction. Education is the first step in addressing the misconception that addiction is a personal weakness and the best means possible in reducing the stigma attached to the disease.

We will conduct the Substance Abuse Program few times a year. This will be open to public.

Computer Classes
In addition, we plan to offer computer classes that educate veterans on basic computer operation and utilizing common software. Armed Forces Veterans will offer free classes on a bi-weekly basis, depending upon need. Our goal with this service is to give veterans basic computer skills needed by today's employers.

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive'
