How To Get Help

From time to time, Armed Forces Veterans comes across veterans who are facing problems outside of its focus, such as medical, financial, or other issues. Armed Forces Veterans does its best to help all veterans no matter the issue. DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION, ARMED FORCES VETERANS MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU DIRECTLY, BUT IN OTHER CASES MAY DEFER TO AN EXTERNAL SOURCE IN ITS NETWORK.

If you are facing a problem and are unsure of where or who to go to, please contact Armed Forces Veterans using this request form. All requests will be reviewed by Armed Forces Veterans' board committee, and we will find a way to assist you. Certain documents are required along with your request, explained below:

  • Formal written request, explaining your current situation in as much detail as possible.
  • DD Form 214, or other documentation that proves your status as a military veteran.
  • (Optional) Letter of recommendation, or other documentation that you can provide that supports your need and reason for request
