Yes. Armed Forces Veterans is a non profit organization specially formed for the veterans.  Our tax ID number is 47-1351374.

How can I make a donation?
You can send a donation to: Armed Forces Veterans, Donations Department, 4671 E. Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053-6630. You can also donate securely online by clicking on ''DONATE NOW' button.  

Is the Armed Forces Veterans an agent of the U S government?
No. Armed Forces Veterans is a nonprofit, charitable corporation that relies on donations from individuals, organizations and corporations to support its programs.
 
Is Armed Forces veterans a legitimate charity?
Armed Forces Veterans was granted tax exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service functioning as a charity under 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to the organization are tax deductible under charitable contributions. Armed Forces Veteran's Federal I.D. Number for donations is # 47-1351374.
 
When will I receive a tax letter summarizing all my donations for the Year?
Tax receipts are sent in January of the following year. For example, a 2014 tax receipt will be sent to the donor in January of 2015.
 


Volunteer FAQ’s

What kind of time commitment is required of Armed Forces Veterans volunteers?
Time commitments vary according to each volunteer assignment and the needs of the individual Armed Forces Veterans center. Many assignments require an ongoing, weekly commitment to help maintain consistency of service to our troops and their families. Other assignments may require a one time or short-term commitment.

Once I submit a volunteer interest form, do I automatically become a volunteer?
Submitting a volunteer interest form does not guarantee placement as a volunteer.

Who is eligible to volunteer with the Armed Forces Veterans?
Volunteer positions are open to all individuals who meet the qualifications established for each position regardless of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, or condition of disability.

Is there an age requirement?
Armed Forces Veterans has a minimum age requirement of 18 years old.

Are Armed Forces Veterans volunteers required to adhere to certain Standards of Conduct?
Yes. The Standards of Conduct outline the principles we ask all Armed Forces Veterans volunteers and employees to uphold. They were developed to maintain the high standards of conduct expected and deserved by America’s troops and their families.
